Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of BAWAB. By signing up or using the service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. The service

BAWAB is an AI concierge that helps you organise services in the real world (household, travel, lifestyle, work) by coordinating with third-party vendors on your behalf. Every booking that contacts a vendor or moves money requires your explicit approval.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, legally able to enter contracts, and not located in a jurisdiction we're prohibited from serving.

3. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your credentials safe. Tell us at security@bawab.ai if you suspect unauthorised access. You're liable for activity on your account up to the point you notify us.

4. Subscription & billing

Plans are listed on the site. Prices are shown in your local currency for convenience; settlement may be in our base currency depending on your location. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel any time in /settings. We don't offer pro-rata refunds for partial months but you keep the service until the end of your paid period.

Each plan includes a monthly concierge credit covering processing fees on vendor work. Above that, the per-tier rate applies (see /pricing).

5. Vendor payments

When a vendor delivers work, you pay BAWAB and BAWAB pays the vendor. We add a transparent processing fee, disclosed up-front on every approval card. We are the merchant of record for vendor payments unless explicitly stated otherwise. Disputes go through us first.

6. Vendor quality

We discover vendors via Google Maps and rank by rating + review depth. We do not guarantee any vendor's work; they are independent. If a job under-delivers, contact us and we will re-route at our cost and credit the next service. This is not a warranty of vendor performance; it is a service-recovery commitment.

7. Acceptable use

Don't use BAWAB to break the law, harass anyone, or arrange anything fraudulent. Don't scrape the service or attempt to reverse-engineer the AI. We will suspend accounts that violate this and refund any unused subscription period.

8. AI limitations

The assistant's answers can occasionally be wrong, incomplete, or biased. That is the state of generative AI in 2026. Always review the approval card before tapping Approve. Estimates are estimates; final invoices may differ within a transparent margin disclosed on each card.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, BAWAB's total liability for any claim is capped at the greater of (a) the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or (b) USD 100. We are not liable for vendor performance, third-party delays, force majeure, or indirect / consequential damages.

10. Termination

Either side can terminate any time. We'll notify you of any service shutdown with reasonable notice and offer a data export.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes go to the courts of London, unless you are a consumer in another jurisdiction whose laws give you the right to bring a claim locally.

12. Changes

Material changes get emailed to active users with at least 14 days' notice. Continued use after that means you accept them.
